Raid at the Temple of Zephyra – Zephyra • Monarch of the Storm

Born of lightning and tempest, Zephyra is the untamed spirit of the upper skies, a Monarch whose wings once shadowed the sun. Second among the Elemental Monarchs, she rose above the clouds not to admire the world, but to rule it. Her ambition soared beyond the heavens as she sought to overthrow Arba, Lady of the Skies, and seize her dominion over wind and storm.

But pride proved her downfall. The Lords of Mundus, eternal wardens of balance, cast down Zephyra along with her kin, sentencing her to eternal slumber within the shattered towers of her realm. In the elemental plane of Air, at the heart of a floating ruin wrapped in ceaseless gales, stands her prison: the Temple of the Storm.

Those who brave the heights and survive the talons of her harpies may reach the final chamber— a vast skybound sanctum where rests the monumental Stone of Zephyra. Only by touching this ancient bas-relief, carved with her wrathful visage, can a mortal awaken her. And if they prove worthy by defeating her tempest made flesh, they shall earn the Gem of Zephyra, gaining command over the storm itself.

Few have dared the windswept paths to her temple, and fewer still have returned. But the Arcanist Guild records speak of a nameless sailor whose soul was carried away by wings of thunder, never to touch land again.
